There are three positions for Nurses onboard. The Nurses report to the ship’s Physician as well the Clinical Staffing Manager Shoreside. Each Registered Nurse is accountable for his/her own actions whilst providing health care to both guests and crew and is responsible for maintaining registration with their licensing body.

Photographer is responsible for taking pictures of the guests during boarding, dinner parties, captain’s balls, harbor tours, special events, etc. In addition, he assists during photoprocessing and displays pictures for sale. His duties also include: controling of the stock of photographic accessories. The candidate must have a basic knowledge of pictures development techniques, as well as the experience in taking pictures of people. His experience must be documented in an album with at least ten pictures. The ideal candidate should stand out as for personal culture at the highest level, courtesy, politeness, a cheerful disposition, and fluency in English.

Beautician prepares therapy and performs face massages. Masseur prepares a full body massage sessions. Working on both these positions, they are also responsible for the proper promotion and sales of all products associated with these activities. At least one year of experience in a similar position and excellent knowledge of English is required.

Fitness and Aerobic Instructor

F&A instructor  is responsible for preparing and conducting activities and exercises related to aerobic and fitness, and personal training sessions. Additional duty is to supervise the proper functioning of the gym, advice on the proper selection and intensity of exercise as well as organizing gymnastic exercises. Fluency in English is required and  at least one year experience in a similar position. Candidate must also provide us with Personal Trainer Certificate.

Hairdresser (Stylist)

They are responsible for a haircutting, hair modeling and selling  all products related to the modeling and hair-care. In this position we require professional barber / hair stylist qualifications for working with both, women and men clients. Candidates should have professional training and experience in this position. Fluency in English is necessary.

Manicurist

Manicurist’s main responsibility is performing nail treatments like manicure, pedicure and all selling products directly related to the profession. It is required that  candidates for this position must have theoretical training for the profession,  at least a one year of experience and fluency in English.

Chief Receptionist  is responsible for the control and supervision of all employees and activities related to, administration and direct service of passengers on board. Candidates should have at least five years of experience on a cruise ship in a similar position. Fluency in English is required and  at least a good level of another (preferably two) foreign language.

First Receptionist

First receptionist supervises the daily running of the reception and crew office on the ship. He also answers directly to the Main receptionist as for tasks associated with the administration. He solves the problems that passengers notify at the front desk. Experience in a similar position in the hospitality industry, or on board of a passenger ship will be an advantage. Fluency in English is required and a good level of (at least one) another foreign language.

Receptionist

Prepares the daily reception agenda according to the recommendations of the Chief receptionist. He provides direct support for guests and is also responsible for receiving any complaints and notify the Chief Receptionist , or the First Receptionist about them. Previous experience in the hospitality industry, along with knowledge of basic computer software used in the reception (eg. Fidelio) will be an advantage. Fluency in English is required and a good level of another foreign language.

Administrator (Clerk Manned)

Administrator takes care of all formalities related to the work and daily life of the crew on the ship. He is responsible for the proper documentation of the arrival of new employees, directing payments to the relevant bank accounts, arranging airline tickets, keeping a record of the attendance of the crew as well as the issuing letters of recommendation and opinions about the employee. The successful candidate must demonstrate fluency in English, and also at least one year of experience in a similar position in a hotel or on board of a passenger ship.

Group Coordinator

Group Coordinator is responsible for the promotion of excursions, sales and organizing group tours for passengers that are offered at every ports on the route of the ship. Experience in a similar position in the hospitality industry or tourism will be an advantage. Fluency  in English, and at least two foreign languages from the following: Spanish, French, Italian, German, is required.

The Main Care Taker supervises all activities of the entire tidying and cleaning sector. He sets the schedule and hours of work for Chief Housekeeper Assistant, Cabin Attendants, Cabin Attendants Assistant and Hotel Stewards. He is responsible for the administration of the sector, room service, cleaning the ship, except for the kitchen and bar. Additionally, he supervises returning of luggage to passengers. The successful candidate should show outstanding courtesy, civility, pleasant disposition and leadership ability as a group leader. Fluency in English is also required.

The Main Caretaker’s Assistant

He is responsible for the daily monitoring of cleanliness and tidiness in the designated by the Chief Caretaker areas of the ship. Also oversees the proper delivery and transport of luggage, watches over the appropriate state and supply of cleaners. He is also responsible for fulfilling special requests of guests and consider their complaints and report them directly to The Chief Caretaker. The successful candidate should show outstanding courtesy, civility and pleasant disposition and leadership ability as a group leader. . Fluency in English is also required.

Cabin Steward

Cabin Steward is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and order in passenger cabins and their immediate surroundings. He provide any information about the ship and fulfils wishes and requests of the guests regarding laundry, replenishment in their cabins. He works in a team with Steward Cabin Assistant and answers directly to the Chief Caretakers Assistant. The steward should show the knowledge of good manners, courtesy and politeness. Fluency in English is also required.

Cabin Steward’s Assistant

He assists the Steward Cabin in cleaning passenger cabins and their immediate surroundings, he is also responsible for emptying rubbish bins, garbage disposal, delivering laundry and delivering it to the cabin (if there is no Hotel Assistant on board). The steward’s assistant should show a high level of personal culture, courtesy, politeness, cheerful disposition, and good manners. Fluency in English is also required.

Hotel Assistant

Hotel Assistant helps Cabin Steward Assistant during room service. He is responsible for taking luggage to and from the passenger compartment before each trip and during exchange of passengers. The right candidate should be strong enough to cope with very heavy passenger luggage. Fluency in English is required.

Deck Steward

He is responsible for cleaning these deck areas that are accessible to passengers. Other duties include spreading of sun loungers and mattresses by the pool, as well as serving of drinks from the bar. Candidates for this position should have fluency in English.

Cook’s Assistant

He assists the chef and cooks in the kitchen as well as at the food delivery stations. A minimum of one year of experience as a chef’s / cook’s assistant in a restaurant or hotel kitchen and a Cook Certificate is required. Fluency in English is also required.

Baker

He is responsible for the preparation and baking all bakery products. A minimum of two years of experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen of a similar position or previous experience in working on ships is required. A Cook Certificate recognized by the company and a fluency in English is also required.

Bar Manager supervises all activities in the bar sector. The person employed in this position must have the ability to lead, coordinate and allocate responsibilities to the assistants. He is responsible for training new employees, planning, assigning tasks and responsibilities. Bar Manager will also deal with complaints about services and quality provided in the bar. He should have full knowledge of the preparation of beverages, such as drink recipes and standards of professional service of all employees of the sector. It is also necessary for him to know about wines and how to manage goods. The right candidate must be familiar with both the rules of the onboard bar and the rules and regulations on board. The ideal candidate should show a high level of civility, courtesy, politeness and cheerful disposition. Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of another foreign language will be an advantage.

Bar Manager’s Assistant

Bar Manager’s Assistant is responsible for the proper service in the bar area designated by the Bar Manager. Candidates must be prepared to assist, or to replace the bartender. His duties also include checking  the bar supplies. The candidate must be aware of the needs of the guests and be able to cope with possible complaints. He must achieve and maintain the USPH standards in the sector, and report any malfunction of the  bar equipment to the technical department. The ideal candidate should have a high level of civility, courtesy, politeness and cheerful disposition. Fluency in English is required.

Bartender

He is responsible for professional serving alcoholic beverages in bars and on decks, mixing drinks and cocktails and also preparing, cleaning and checking bars supplies. In addition, he is responsible for all bar transactions and drinks costs and creating a unique atmosphere for guests. The right candidate should be distinguished by politeness and cheerful disposition . Fluency in English is required.

Bar Waiter

He is responsible for the professional serving of alcoholic beverages to the guests in the bars and on the decks. Bar Waiter works in a place assigned to him by the Bar Manager. Responsibilities include: preparation of the workplace, helping with the inventory, provision and cleaning of the bar. The right candidate should be distinguished by politeness and cheerful disposition. Fluency in English is required.

Sommelier

Sommelier recommends and serves wines as well as cocktails and alcoholic drinks. He supervises the efficiency of wine transport from the store and prepares sales reports. He also takes care of the cleanliness in the wine store. Very good knowledge of wine brands is required, as well as very good knowledge of English.

Bar Assistant

He is responsible for cleaning the bars as well as stock-taking. Fluency in English is required.

Waiter

He should be familiar with all the items in the menu and the ingredients from which they were prepared, as well as being able to describe them to the guests. The waiter is  to make sure the guests are fully satisfied with the taste of the food and the quality of service, and  report it to the Restaurant Manager’s  Assistant. The waiter also cares for the cleanliness of the tables, arranges them, and supervises the Waiter’s Assistant assigned to him. The ideal candidate should have a high level of politeness, courtesy, and cheerful disposition along with openness. Fluency in English is also required.

Waiter’s Assistant

She assists the waiter in serving food and drinks, prepares tables, serves meals according to the waiter’s recommendations. He keeps the menu and table clean. He should be familiar with all the items in the menu and the ingredients from which they were prepared. Fluency in English is required.

Snack Steward (Buffet Steward)

He offers assist with the buffets organized in different places of the dining room during the opening. His duties include serving meals to passengers inside and outside of the dining room, and informing guests about every item in the menu. Fluency in English is required.
