Cleaning Sector

The Main Caretaker (Housekeeper)

The Main Care Taker supervises all activities of the entire tidying and cleaning sector. He sets the schedule and hours of work for Chief Housekeeper Assistant, Cabin Attendants, Cabin Attendants Assistant and Hotel Stewards. He is responsible for the administration of the sector, room service, cleaning the ship, except for the kitchen and bar. Additionally, he supervises returning of luggage to passengers. The successful candidate should show outstanding courtesy, civility, pleasant disposition and leadership ability as a group leader. Fluency in English is also required.

The Main Caretaker’s Assistant

He is responsible for the daily monitoring of cleanliness and tidiness in the designated by the Chief Caretaker areas of the ship. Also oversees the proper delivery and transport of luggage, watches over the appropriate state and supply of cleaners. He is also responsible for fulfilling special requests of guests and consider their complaints and report them directly to The Chief Caretaker. The successful candidate should show outstanding courtesy, civility and pleasant disposition and leadership ability as a group leader. . Fluency in English is also required.

Cabin Steward

Cabin Steward is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and order in passenger cabins and their immediate surroundings. He provide any information about the ship and fulfils wishes and requests of the guests regarding laundry, replenishment in their cabins. He works in a team with Steward Cabin Assistant and answers directly to the Chief Caretakers Assistant. The steward should show the knowledge of good manners, courtesy and politeness. Fluency in English is also required.

Cabin Steward’s Assistant

He assists the Steward Cabin in cleaning passenger cabins and their immediate surroundings, he is also responsible for emptying rubbish bins, garbage disposal, delivering laundry and delivering it to the cabin (if there is no Hotel Assistant on board). The steward’s assistant should show a high level of personal culture, courtesy, politeness, cheerful disposition, and good manners. Fluency in English is also required.

Hotel Assistant

Hotel Assistant helps Cabin Steward Assistant during room service. He is responsible for taking luggage to and from the passenger compartment before each trip and during exchange of passengers. The right candidate should be strong enough to cope with very heavy passenger luggage. Fluency in English is required.

Deck Steward

He is responsible for cleaning these deck areas that are accessible to passengers. Other duties include spreading of sun loungers and mattresses by the pool, as well as serving of drinks from the bar. Candidates for this position should have fluency in English.
